Connected My wife and I dined at Connected to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Start to finish, the evening was spectacular. From the outside, you wouldn’t think much of Connected; it is in run-down part of the city, but you can’t judge a book by its cover. Inside, it is an intimate setting with a friendly, welcoming staff. First we enjoyed the bread with eggplant spread, a mixed green salad with light vinaigrette, feta cheese, and finely chopped walnuts. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass with risotto, and I had the Filet Mignon with onion and mushroom sauce. Both dinners were delicious! Our waitress “team” was highly attentive and even lit a small tabletop sparkler in celebration of our anniversary. We look forward to our next trip.

Hidden Gem A little difficult to spot right off of the parking lot of the University street Walmart, but once inside you are in for a real treat. The service is fantastic & the waitstaff was able to answer any question about anything on the menu,which has lots of interesting items. One of our group had the wild boar and said it was wonderful. The menu has something for everyone and no one in our party had any complaints. Great desserts also. There is currently construction going on outside in front of the restaurant which looks like they are planning an outdoor seating area.

Stumbled upon this hidden place I was in the area and wanted to try something different. They are revamping the front of the restaurant so I had no preconceived expectations. My first impression was that this is a great place to celebrate an event or occasion. The staff dressed on a more formal side. Nice atmosphere. I had chicken Marsala and it was tasty. I saw the steaks coming out and they looked and smelled amazing. If my Golden retriever was with me he would have grabbed one off the tray they were serving off of. Was presented with a variety of specials, but, asked for a menu. A little more expensive, but, a good choice for those special occasions.

Loved, loved, loved Connected! From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out, the staff was attentive. The atmosphere and food were great. We loved the entire experience and can’t wait to go back!!!

My favorite restaurant in Peoria! We always come here for any special occasion. My loves are the lemon-basil martini and the cinghiale! The Frank Sinatra playing in the background always gives a romantic feel to the air. It’s a beautiful place!

My husband and I have eaten here a handful of times and I swear every time we come back it just gets better and better. Everything we have ordered we have loved, not just liked… LOVED! The staff are AMAZiNG and the atmosphere is fantastic. Can’t wait to return.
FYI: The banana foster cheese cake is crazy good!

We always have an excellent dinner every time we come here. Our favorite is either lamb chops or the Russian boar. Anytime we are near Peoria, we always stop by and have an excellent meal here.

Beautiful setting with a carefully selected menu and terrific service. Bar service was outstanding too.

This was our first time dining at Connected. We went with friends and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant…it was beautifully decorated! The service and food were top-notch! My husband had a pasta dish and I had the sea bass with shrimp risotto. Our friends had pasta and the salmon special. All the entrees were prepared to perfection! This place may be our new favorite!

Took clients out to dinner who were international. They enjoyed the meal so much that they planned to come back on their own another night. They were on a multiple city US trip and said it was the best meal they had on the trip (big city destinations) I also would highly recommend the wild boar dish. Simply amazing.

This is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to! Their bartender is phenomenal and so is the chef! I have had the steak, veal, lobster and wild boar and it melts in your mouth. Every time I come here, it gets better and better. The owner is very friendly and he truly cares about his customers and his cooking.
